Kayaking and Paddle Boarding
Exploring the UNESCO World Heritage Rock Islands Southern Lagoon via kayaking and paddle boarding offers a completely different but equally astounding experience.
Palau’s Rock Islands cover 100,200 hectares of uninhabited limestone islands of volcanic origin shaped like mushrooms. The site harbors the highest concentration of marine lakes anywhere, isolated bodies of seawater separated from the ocean by land barriers.
They are best explored with kayaks and paddle boards with an experienced guide from Sam’s Tours.

Effective April 25th, 2023, Palau no longer requires COVID-19 vaccination to enter the country.

An approved Vessel Entry Permit issued by the Bureau of Immigration.
Palau Port Managers prior approval before entry.
Vessels are permitted to stay a maximum of 90 days with the exception of vessels flagged in the United States, Marshall Islands, or Federated States of Micronesia, which may stay up to one year.

Visas are not required. A 30-day Tourist Visa will be issued upon arrival and may be extended within 7 days prior to expiration upon approval of Immigration for a fee of US$50.00. A maximum of 90 days’ stay is permitted (30 days upon arrival plus 2 extensions at US$50.00 fee per extension).Visitors must exit the country within 90 days.
Citizens of the United States of America, Federated States of Micronesia, Republic of the Marshall Islands, Guam, and the Commonwealth of Northern Marianas Islands carrying valid passports are issued a one-year Tourist Visa upon arrival.
Citizens of Myanmar and Bangladesh must apply to the Bureau of Immigration for a pre-approved visa before entry to Palau.

Valid Passport- Passports must be valid for at least 6 months AFTER visitors’ planned departure from Palau. Visitors with less than 6 months remaining validity will be denied boarding to Palau.
Onward airline ticket out of Palau- Visitors are required to show proof of onward ticket out of Palau or they may be denied boarding or entry.*
All travelers are required to complete an online Entry Form prior to arrival in the Republic of Palau. Upon completion, travelers will receive a unique QR code by email to be presented upon arrival at the Palau International Airport. *Paper-based forms are available upon arrival should it be necessary.

Our team personally oversees the packing of your local provisions, ensuring perishables are packed carefully and delivered in the best possible condition directly to your yacht.
